Dolphin Blue Paradise believe in the fundamental right of every person to access safe, science-based healthcare. Whenever possible, we volunteer with Floating Doctors, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing healthcare, education, and community development to underserved indigenous communities in the Bocas del Toro Archipelago. We regularly have guests who come to volunteer with Floating Doctors or other local non-profit organizations and use Dolphin Blue Paradise as their comfortable base while in Bocas Del Toro.

Donations

Dolphin Blue Paradise is located between the indigenous villages of Aldana, Bocastorito, Tierra Oscura, and Buena Esperanza. These villages face significant challenges in terms of access to basic healthcare, clean water, and infrastructure. Many households lack access to clean water, and the area is considered a "food desert," with limited access to stores or fresh produce.

If you wish to support these communities, we greatly appreciate donations of:

  • Basic clothing & shoes

  • Books, school bags & school supplies

  • Solar chargers

  • Toiletries

  • Rain barrels & rain water catchment systems

  • Mosquito nets

  • Laptops (or MacBooks)

  • Water treatment systems

  • Life vests

  • Sports equipment

  • Headlamps or bike lights for getting safely around at dark

Your generosity will make a significant impact, and we accept these items with deep gratitude.

If you would like to help with medical care, we recommend visiting www.floatingdoctors.com. We are also happy to coordinate a visit with Floating Doctors to directly support the community's healthcare needs.

Education

We are committed to education for all, and have established a scholarship program that helps a member of our staff or their children pursue vocational training in healthcare or hospitality. If you would like to sponsor a student, please reach out to us via email at contact@dolphinblueparadise.com.

Thank you for your interest in supporting our indigenous communities. Together, we can help create lasting sustainable change in these communities.
