Peak Season

with sea view

Each room is designed to feel intimate, airy, and connected to the bay. If you want help choosing by view, layout, or season, our team can guide you before you book.

A king bed, organic linen, and a terrace that looks straight onto the bay. Dolphins travel through most mornings, so sit with your coffee and watch for the fins. Wild animals, so never a promise, but it is most mornings.

A king bed and a queen, with room enough for the kids. The balcony hangs over the bay: open the doors and the water is right there. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, and most families end up eating breakfast outside, watching for dolphins.

Our signature cabana, with locally made finishes and a California King under an organic mattress. There are three of them. You wake to the bay moving below, take your first coffee on the terrace, and the morning is yours to do nothing with.

The day sorts itself out. A hammock in the shade, a lounger in the sun, or warm Caribbean water straight off the swim platform. You pick, and the bay is in no hurry.
Lean over the edge of the platform and you will spot starfish and sea urchins resting on the sand right below, between the restaurant and the water. Pull on a mask and you are looking at them up close without leaving the property.
Walk the five-acre garden with Roque, who has tended it for 24 years with his team. He names things as you pass them, and most of it ends up on the plate: the tropical fruit you see hanging shows up in that week's breakfast and dinner.
Color sits at head height between the trees: hibiscus, bird of paradise, frangipani that gives itself away near dusk, lobster claws, jasmine, and orchids you would be lucky to find anywhere else. No two corners look the same.
Further in is the restaurant's food before it is food. Ginger, turmeric, lettuce, spinach, cilantro, lemongrass, tomatoes, and peppers go from here to the kitchen the same day. The week's menu is built around whatever the garden gave us.

When the rain comes in, the newly renovated Salon Azul is where you end up: a book, a board game, a yoga mat, and the sound of water on the roof. Out on the patio there is a small workout corner with weights, dumbbells, a fitness ball, and more mats.
Our rates vary by season and room type. Transfers from Bocas Town are complimentary for stays of four nights or more.

A handful of rooms on one bay in Bocas del Toro, twenty to thirty minutes by boat from town, with no road in. Solar runs the whole island, so the nights get properly dark and the loudest thing is the reef. Tell us your dates and we will sort the boat.
